SWITCH PIC

I'm a Water Hog and so are you. I want all I can use and so do you. A few days without it and nothing else matters. My thirst, my family,my critters, my land. In the US, growing food and fabric uses 80% of our fresh water. Most of the food goes to animals. To grow ten acres of alfalfa needs over 3 million gallons/ year and will feed 4 steers. Add another 2000 gal/pound of meat for processing. Evaporation is the cleanser of sea water. It takes a world of solar energy to net a miserable 3% fresh. To duplicate what the Sun does at a community level is not cheap and the leftovers are extremely salty. Look up desalination and open your wallet. You can use gray water at your own risk or meet with the local building department. Cleaning wastewater up for drinking may only suit the astronauts and the driest nations at the moment. Waste Water (we do) / Get Hotter (we are).
